Alongside services and resources, CLOTHED hopes to empower the community through hosting events and facilitating the EmpowHERed Book Club in the greater Hattiesburg area. Retreat 2023
My first retreat was a huge step out on faith. When it came to getting this idea from my heart to His hands, all I had was me and Him. But with obedience comes His presence, and abundance surely followed. With life happening around me and inadequacy happening within me, I truly couldn't understand His faithfulness. But I was so grateful for it every step of the way.
I suppose I'll look back at this retreat and believe it was a "downgraded" experience compared to the vision I have now. But, the glory God got from it is definitely what made it a premium experience for me! Now I have been graced with more vision, knowledge, and support to push myself even farther. And with His help, I have confident hope that I will.
EmpowHERed Book Club (est. 2025)
A space for intentional reading, reflection, and growth. The EmpowHERed Book Club is a community of women who center empowering literature that challenges perspective, deepens self-awareness, and strengthens our relationship with God, ourselves, and others. With each fun and engaging gathering, you leave better than you came!
